Young people made films to educate their peers about the dangers of knife crime!!!
Here are some photos from the premiere which took place on July 31st.
Special Guests were the Mayor of Milton Keynes and the area Commander, Thames Valley Police, Superintendent Marc Tarbit. 

This project worked with young people to produce a total four films which highlight the dangers of knife crime and gang violence.

 

The filmmakers learnt key information about knife crime and gang violence by having talks from law enforcement officers and online research.

 

They learnt research, script development and writing, production, scheduling, budgeting, crewing, casting, camera and editing skills. 

 

The films were  premiered to filmmakers, their families, friends and stakeholders such as law enforcement and the Milton Keynes community.
